cursor not automatic when you reply

When replying to a thread the cursor doesn't automatically go to the text box ready for you. I keep typing away and then look up to see that I haven't typed anything! Can this be changed? Pretty please

Afraid not, this is built into the software and I have to say I have never noticed this occuring on another forum....is it a computer setting?

Not sure, I think you may have to click the box on other forums too. I know there is a setting within windows that puts the cursor on the OK button etc. Wil have a play and see what I can find.
