how many buns have you had and how long have you kept bunnies?

ive had bunnies since 1997 so thats roughly erm let me count ... 11years

in total ive had 2 bunnies, a rescued french lop named thumper she left for the bridge estimated age 9-13years a grand old lady bun. a orange mini lop named mitzi took from us too soon at 4yrs 10months

an now ive got 2 a mini lop and nethie

I've had buns for 13 years now..I wouldn't be without them.

In that time I have had 6 buns including my current 3. They have all been house buns to

aww thats great, thumper and mitzi where outdoor bunnies but still came in the house, then rosie refused to go in the hutch and became a house bun and she got lonely when i was out during the day, as a result she shredde everything she got hold of so i bought mowgli and she settled down alot

aww they are so cute.

my first bun fraiser was 6 when we got him, he lived indoors as he was a special needs bun. He developed an abcess ion the brain and was pts at the ripe old age of 9

While we had fraiser we found a baby rabbit in the garden that had been chased in and had been mauled (sp?) by cats. She was a beautiful frenchie but had holes in her ears from where the cats had toyed with her as a baby. She was 8 when she died at home

Next came my Gizzie bunny, he was my little lapdog bun with a gorgeous black silky coat. He followed me everywhere, even into the shower. He died at 13

Come to think of it I must have had buns for longer than 13 years

I have had a few bunnies my first was a Black lop Buck called Blackie and that was when Megz was 3yrs old. We had to re-home him though because he started attacking both Megz and me any time we went near my OH. It got so I couldn't do anything with him. He went to a good home and was neutered straight away. That was before I knew alot about bunnies. I had always had Guineapigs before. After him we got Nutmeg she was my dream bunny. She would greet me and lick when held. She had the run of everywhere. Then we got Fudge who was Megz bunny we got her for a friend for Nutmeg. Again we had to move and we were told we couldn't take them with us (we went to Germany). Heartbrocken I found them a loving home together. Over in Germany I had the best prezy ever my OH bought me two baby buns only had them a few months. I woke up to find one of my babies very still he passed away in the night and the other followed within a day. Both had been fully vaccinated. The came Thumper he could sit on the palm of my hand when he came to me, he grew to be a fantastic bunny. He would let kids of all ages pick him up and fuss over him. Now I have Dixie and Lupin my babies oh and foster bun Dolly and now Sox he arrived last night. So in 10 years I have owned 8 bunnies and fostered 3.

Ive only had buns for just over a year or so, but I got totally addicted and somehow I've got 5!!

2 giants, 1 mini lop, 1 straight ear and a dwarf lop.

I've had rabbits all my life, we have Thomas Rabbit but he escaped, i was only about 3, and then we got George and he died and then after i got Toffee and recently i've got 'Ghostie' the rescue

Well I've only had bunnies for.... 3 years now. a total of 7, all still with us (fingers crossed) although 3 of them aren't living with me

I've kept them for 8 years and I had terrible luck when I first started keeping them
(please don't judge me, alot of them were ill when i got them, seperated from their parents too young and other problems)

12 and 3 are still with me I had some at the same time etc

We had a bunny when I was a kid, except I swapped my half of him for my sister's goldfish! He used to scare me!

Other than that, I got 2 bunnies in 2006, and the rest is a stressful, expensive, (but lovely) history!

Wow Nethie you have done great with your buns. I have had rotten luck despite trying my best with buns. I have had them for 4 years now and love them. My first bun was 7.5 when I got him. I currently have 3 of my pwn buns and Helen's 3!

I've had seven bunnies altogether, my first was Sally, a gorgeous nethie, when I was 9 in 1992, she died when she was 6, then later I had 2 gorgeous loppy cuddle buns Dana and Lucy, lovely buns. I then had a break and now I have Walter, Martha, Lene and Bee

well the first time I had buns I had them for about 3 years, then I took a break for about 10 years, and it now my second year of being a bunny mummy

I've had about 12 buns in total currently just have choc and lil
