Why Do Some People Do It, Sorry lots of pics

Hello I have been handed over 3 piggies today for RSCPA care. Owner couldnt take them to her new house as pets not allowed. I was informed that the Sow is ok however makes like a chesty sound for attention and I have to ignore it. (As if) The two Boars cannot live together as they fight however the office told me they are fine together and that is why I could take them. Then the lady handed them over along with cages sorry about the picture quality but if I could send the smell that was left in my house I would do so and you wouldn't thank me for it.

If it wasn't for the help I got from my kids and a neighbours child I would still be sorting out the piggies now. We trimbed nails and bathed all three and now have vet appointments for tomorrow to get them checked over.



Now after a wash and nail trim........ :luv:

All I can say is thank goodness you have got them now and they are safe

Those poor piggies, they must feel so much better now they have been given some tlc, thank the lord you have them.
I cannot get over the length of their nails & the state of the cages makes me feel ill.

Just back from the vets and have it confirmed all three piggies were flea riddened. I was informed that the wash and blow dry would have helpped loads and now have drops to put on each and every piggie. My kitchen and the rest of the house now smell a combination of Bleach and Flea spray. What we do for animals. Only thing is just the thought of Fleas make me itch terribly just like when you hear about HeadLice on kids

That is appalling. How can someone think that the state of those cages is acceptable?!

It doesn't take much work to clean out an animal every day or so. If you leave it for ages it is just so horrible for the animals and for you! I wonder what she left her old house like. Pity the people who moved into it.

They look much better after their bath. They are lovely little animals to have. I had some when I was a kid and so rewarding. It's not like they are loads of work to keep happy and clean.

They were in a rite state bless em . The little girlie was covered in fleas and flea dirt. it just makes me so angry how someone could keep them that way. But yet the minute she had been washed and we had the hairdryer out on her, she was fine, snuggling and everything . just happy there here with us now
