How moving, after all that you have done for her and that she's come through, it seems very unfair on Bramble She's had a few weeks of love, nurture and care that she was unlikely to have really. That's got to be worth everything to her. Vibes for you both x

that is very sad and made me feel very emotional. but it is lovely that she has had a nice last few weeks and didn't have to die in the miserable state she was in when she was found.

I think you have made a very brave and selfless decision Kris. Hope all goes well at the vets. x

She has what amounts to a lifetime of love in the short time that you have had her. At least when she does die, she will be helped out in a kind painless way, not discovered dead in her hutch after suffering from all kinds of privations.
You are so very brave and realistic. Sometimes PTS is the compassionate way.

Re: The Abandoned French Lop -WARNING- Graphic Pics
Its been 3 weeks since the ultimatum, and ive even had 2 binkies from her!!
Bramble was taken to the vets today as she had a wound -large, that had scabbed over.
After having had a look over, and taking the scab off, it appears she had had an abscess there which has now burst. She is bak on the baytril and will have it eashed twice a day to prevent it scabbed over, she is being checked over Sat morning, and if there is no improvement.. she will realistically need an op to remove it and the skin around it
She is now 5.80kg, so she has put on another 100g since she was weighed 2 weeks ago
