Re: Photos from our holiday.
Seriously, if you ever get the chance: do it. A 3 day pass to the temples cost us $40 (US) and eating out is dirt cheap (we paid $20 for a nice 3-course meal and there's always cheaper bars/cafes around as well as street vendors). They sell silk scarves for $3 each, tuk tuks cost us $3 and we were 20 minutes out of town. The only cost is getting there. Cambodia really was something special!

Re: Photos from our holiday.
I dont know. It was a couple of Aussies who ran a pearl diving operation (just the two of them) and had this lovely little cafe right on the beach. I thought the monkey being chained was a little cruel but they said they let him run around when there were no people (evenings etc). I don't know if I believe them but he seemed well cared for and liked the bloke we met.

Your photos are amazing Helen, I love the ones of the sunset, the second one would look brilliant framed
and hung on the wall. Are you a professional photographer or had training in photography?

Wow they are amazing Helen! The 2 albums have such a different look and feel to them, it's quite something. The light's different, the landscape etc. Cambodia looks beautiful, and I love the Lizards :luv:
Re: Photos from our holiday.
Cambodia was amazing Jay. If you're ever in this part of the world it is seriously worth making a detour for!!!
Jo no I have had no training at all. Mr B has taught me the very basics about aperture and shutter speed (e.g. having to use long shutter speeds for the sunrise pics to get enough light) but honestly I feel like a fraud having this amazing camera (present from FIL a couple of Xmasses ago) and not knowing half of what it does
I did take over 1,000 photos so there's bound to be some good ones in there... The beauty of digital eh?
