Noodle 16th August 2008 - 14th February 2009

Just 2 days shy of 6 months old, Noodle died in my arms this afternoon.

He was poisoned on Thursday, we don't know what by but it was ingested rather than a bite. After a night at the vet's and a night at home, syringe feeding, tummy rubs and lots of pills, Noodle finally gave up the fight around 2.30pm (our time).

First born, we watched his arrival into the world on Saturday night and he grew into a gorgeous, sleek, affectionate tabby. He wasn't a needy cat, so when he chose to come and flop down in your lap, it made you feel so special that he had decided to share his affection with you that you were won over every time.

Our perfect tabby, Noodle, I'm so sorry we couldn't do more for you. You were loved so dearly and mummy and daddy miss you so much already. The house seems so empty without you...

Rest in Peace my gorgeous boy. I'm glad you're out of your suffering now

I am so so sorry, it is so sad to lose Noodle so young. He was so lucky though to have been born into your care and love.

Oh I am so sorry Helen, I am not really a cat person, but this has brought tears to my eyes. He was such a cutie. Sleep tight Noodle.

I can't believe we are posting in Rainbow Bridge, about Noodle There are no words. Life is so cruel. May you rest peacefully now sweet boy. xxx

I can't believe it either. He never so much as hissed at me he was the sweetest, gentlest boy I have known. They are all such gorgeous cats I am having such a hard time dealing with this.

I still can't really believe this has happened. And what an awful way to go. My poor boy

So sorry to hear about Noodle. He's at peace now and out of pain.
