Riding.

well I did it! I thought I'd show you guys some photos of this morning's ride. Please excuse the blueness, it was my pants point-and-shoot which somehow had the white balance set to indoors. I've tried to balance them out a bit but no dice.

Here's my horse - Debra (fab name ):

yes that is sea you can see in the background. the saddle club is RIGHT on the beach :D:D

EACH - there were 4 little ones like this which we cantered along before turning to canter back over five on the way home



It was SO much fun. I haven't ridden in years (save a walk about last Thursday) and, even though Debra had a very BOUNCY gait to her (I was holding onto the saddle when she cantered) it was just so liberating to be out there, wind in my (sweaty) hair, cantering along the beach :luv:.

I am paying for it royally now, my back is a lot worse than before . Worth every aching vertebra

You look really happy! How kool, I only tried it once, put the boots on the wrong feet, and they got stuck...it wasn't good

aww fab havent been horse riding in an age but it is fab i remember that much looks like you wewre having a fantastic time

that 3rd pic down is fab looks really arty with a blue hue would look fantastic as a big canvas

well I can't take any credit for the photos, my friend had my camera down her jodphurs when she wasn't taking photos (I was a bit hesitant to get it back of her actually).

It was brilliant fun and I will definitely be going again (Thurs a.m. in fact!). Although I have been so exhausted all day that I've just stayed in bed watching films Hardly an 'active' lifestyle but then again I am an old woman now...

i am seriously in a lot of pain today i was supposed to be helping Mr B sort the "get you in packs" out today but can hardly move

my return ticket in June cost me £500 GBP but that was direct (refuelling in Dubai) so you could probs get them a lot cheaper if you went via Singapore or somewhere... Feel free to visit
