Baldy Gloria!

Poor Gloria has a bald neck!!

I noticed that she had a big lumps between her ears in her mane, so I thought I had better give her a good brush. When I got started, I noted there were loads and there was lots of loose hair. They all came away after a little while and she now has a big bald bit at the back of her neck. Her skin is OK and not too red. I was worried in case it was getting sore because of the matted bits so am glad I got them out. It is Wolfie that causes them because he is always licking her and that mats her fur as it is so fine and downy.

She isn't very filmstar today! I will try and take a photo so you can see her huge bald bit.

Aw poor Gloria. She will be really embarassed if you post pictures of her bald bits, she is a diva after all!!!!

She has sort of lost the back bit!!

However, there is nothing wrong with her teeth as my thumb can attest!! Serves me right for stroking Felix first. She obviously didn't like that .... or it could be revenge for her social embarrassment.

I think that a lot of the hair started coming out, but got tangled up in a huge big matt, but it all came out in one or two big lumps leaving a great big bald bit. I'm sure it will grow back. But she just hasn't forgiven me for the torture session. I didn't have to tug too much as it was already loose.

We have had to cut clumps out of BJ's and Rosie's manes too. Like you I am sure the mutual grooming causes tangles.

poor Gloria! What a shame for her, she is such a glamourbun! It will grow back though and she will forgive you! Can you give her some pretty ribbons to chew on or something?
