Bunny Book Frustration!!
I decided it was time I invested in some bunny books for fun and education. After reading the HH book reviews, I went into the city centre, book list in hand. I usually by books from amazon but there's nothing like browsing around a book shop sometimes and I haven't done that in ages.
Anyway........where are all the bunny books!? I went to all the major book shops and there were nothing worth buying, just the basic one but nothing that i wanted. The thing that struck me as odd is the amount of books they have on livestock! And horses! Rabbits are the third most popular pet so why all the books on chickens and horses!? I mean, how many people in Norwich own a horse?
And then for magazines. No bunny ones whatsoever. Many, many fish ones, horse ones (again ) and parrat ones. Your horse, your cat, your dog, your stick insect (that one was a joke ). It's madness!
Sorry for the rant but just wanted to get it out of my system. I don't think my OH appreciated the rabbiting on (sigh, pardon the pun).

Re: Bunny Book Frustration!!
I'm glad you looked at the book review, it's a good one!
I have real trouble finding bunny books too, they are a lot more common than horses, so it is surprising that there aren't more out on the shelves. I have found a few in 2nd hand bookshops, and the rest on-line. We have 2 branches of the nice wooden furnishings bookstore (!) here, and one of them has a few bunny books, not particularly informative ones, the other, none.
There's sooo much to read when you get them, I'd start with the Houserabbit handbook. esp. if you're thinking of bringing Mr. Magoo indoors, it's invaluable

Re: Bunny Book Frustration!!
Rabbits for Dummies is another excellent book, they sometimes have it in Waterstones, but like you I normally buy from Amaon as there is more choice.
If your after mags then Bunny Mad is available: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/s.mcmahon/ and if you join the RWAF you get Rabbiting On quarterly: http://www.rabbitwelfare.co.uk/join/index.php.

Thanks Sooz. The RWAF is one I've been planning on joining for a little while now. It looks fab.
