Bald feet!

Rorys feet have almost healed underneath. The fur has almost grown back and they are looking great, however around the side of his feet (one more than the other) he is bald completely. Its not sore or dry, I can just see healthy pink skin. It looks awful though. I think that because he doesnt like the taste of the vaseline under his feet, he is licking the side instead and this has caused the baldness. Has anyone else come accross anything like this before?

Haven't come across it but I think your theory could be right there hun. Maybe try covering that part in vaseline too? Big hugs for the gorgeous boy btw.

Thanks Charlotte. I have actually decided not to put anything on them. His under feet are almost fully covered in fur now, its just round the top. I have been cleaning his cage twice a day to make sure it is dry and the fur is actually growing back on his feet now. He has tiny tufts of fur sprouting.
