I feel so terrible. I was brushing his fir and went to move some wood shavings that were under his eye and he moved his head and my thumb touched his eyeball Shocked He seems absolutely fine, came for a stroke from me and let me brush him and is now running around playing so I don't think I did any damage. But I feel just awful!

I'm having one of those days where everything seems NOT to be going the way I want it to. Know what I mean? Does anyone else have days where you constantly seem to be bumping into things, dropping things, doing stuff wrong etc??

oh god I have those days all the time!! One time Matthew threw a treat towards our poor cat Yang with the terrible luck and it hit him RIGHT in the eye and he was blinking funnily the whole day we felt so bad! It sounds like Mr. Magoo is just fine though just think what bunnies do to each other when they are grooming each other!

Sometimes I worry I'm brushing him too rough, although I'm really gentle, because he seems to get such knotty fur from rolling around in his wood shavings! But he just sits there looking at me.

You ought to hear my daughter scream when I brush her hair! Wink

Haha! Laughing! Poor Mr Magoo. However I wouldn't worry. I poked Chance in the eye the other day doing some meds! I am so clumsy!

He will be fine I promise! Bet he got a suprise!

I can be really clumbsy too. I've read so much about how rabbits are very fragile, that it can make me jumpy which makes things worse! To begin with when we first got him and I went to pick him up I would walk behind him following him around the room. I was too nervous to pick him up to firmly so I just followed slowly until he got tired and layed down in front of me! My OH found it hilarious standing there watching Mr. Magoo hop around me really calmly while I was getting flustered!

I think you are terrified when you first get them. I was of mine. Now I grab them without a second thought. Its weird isn't it.

How long have you had bunnies for?

I think it's because they are so predictable as are all animals (even us at times!) You never know what they're going to do. But it gets easier when you get to know them and understand they way they behave.

Hi.. not the same but I am always tripping over Johns or treading on him by accident as he gets underfoot when he comes indoors - he doesn't seem to be bothered by it and so far (fingers crossed, touch wood etc), I haven't hurt him yet even with my lardy self treading on him pmsl
