Baby wipes for bunnies? Empty Baby wipes for bunnies?

Post by Magoo Sat Apr 11, 2009 2:24 pm

I've been thinking about getting some of those pet wipes from pets@home to use to help keep Mr. Magoo's fur smelling nice and clean (although he does a pretty good job of it himself I must admit!) I was wondering if anyone uses baby wipes instead? We already use baby wipes on the twins so it'd be more economical for us to use those and it makes more sense than buying specially made ones unless they are much better for bunny. The wipes we use on the kids are for sensitive skin so do not contain perfume. What do you guys think?

I have used baby wipes in the past and didnt have any probs with them. I just gave them a quick wipe over their fur. I think as long as you watch the eyes you should be ok. Maybe someone will be along to say its a big no no though.

I would have thought it would be fine. Things for babies - especially with sensitive skin - would I assume go through a hell of a lot more checks and regulations than pet wipes so probably even gentler.

I use them to clean Mack up after he has his abcess flushed and he has always been OK with them, he has sensitive skin too. The ones we use are the gentle ones though.
