Meet my sock bunneh!

Of course it was totally random that I found an odd brown sock that kinda looks like an agouti bun....ahem.... urrrrrrrr....

It's a little boy, I haven't thought of a name yet though. I enjoyed making him, I might make another one tomorrow night, I can see this getting addictive!!

It gets seriously addictive and is very therapeutic. I ended up with hordes of baby socks and a basket full of sock bunnies!!!!!

Ok guys, meet Lavender!
I made her with a fuzzy sock.
I stuffed her with raw lentilles to keep her heavy and give her shape, cotton whool to give her face a shape, and lavender so that she smells nice. And trust me she does!
I wanted to sew eyes and a mouth on her, but in the end I decided not to. I love her this way.





She lives on the shelf above my desk, and when I sit at the desk I can smell her flowery scent.


Edit:
10 minutes after making Lavender the bunny, I decided to make another plushie out of a fuzzy sock.
So I made Blossom. She's supposed to be a hamster, but she looks more like a cute weird creature.
She's stuffed with lentilles and dried orange blossoms. She doesn't smell as much as Lavender though.

Thanks! I stuffed the ears with some cotton so that they stay up and have some shape, I find that it looks more realistic. It's nice to have her filled with lavender, the smell is very strong and great.
My mom asked me to make her one filled with lavender to put in the car, so there will be a 3rd sock animal as soon as I buy a blue fuzzy sock!

By the way, I would like to ask for permission to take screen shots of the instructions on how to make these to share with the hamster forum I go to (which is also called HH by the way, short for Hamster Hideout).
I showed them pics of my sock animals and they all want to make one now.
