Hi we are thinking of getting two rabbits and I was just wondering whether you needed two separate sleeping areas for them I am hoping to put them in the same hutch/run and they will be living outside but can't seem to find out if they need two bed rooms or one ( i did see a hutch somewhere that could be customised to separate the sleeping bit or put in an extra room what do you think is best. Thanks.

One bedroom should be fine.

Some buns don't actually use the sleeping area for sleeping. Mine use it as an en-suite and have their litter trays in there. They spend all their time in the open area even in winter when I put in loads of lovely hay to keep them warm. Mine have one bedroom too so they can huddle together if they ever go in there together!
