Litte Dave Has Arrived....
I got a call tonight from our RSPCA inspector who had seized a bunny. I can't say too much but the inspector was told he has cannabis blown in his face and was often given cider to drink. They told the inspector her was about 1. He has arrived and is about 13 weeks and the dearest little baby I have met. He reminds me alot of baby Blanket in nature. He was very nervous at first but has settled in brilliantly. Even though he has only been here about an hour!!!! He is now eating his tea and comes up to me for loves and put his head down and tooth purrs. Pics will follow, am on placement today and tomorrow so kanckered and over run. He is a white lop covered in tan and black speckles. He is BEAUTIFUL! !!!

Re: Litte Dave Has Arrived....
Gonna get him castrated and jabbed and microchipped next week and he will be up for adoption! However I have reassured him just now, in a little pep talk, that he is safe and will be looked after forever now. Just gotta get the right mummy/daddy for him now! Will pop pics up tomorrow night when I get in from placement. I will warn you ladies, he is a looker!

Sending bunny loves to Little Dave.
I really think having a pet should be licenced.
Bless him, glad he is in safe hands now.

Re: Litte Dave Has Arrived....
He's a beautiful little baby.....and you called him 'Dave'....
Seriously though, what an awful thing for such a wee bunny to have been through, really pleased the RSPCA got involved. I'm guessing they probably won't be pursueing a prosecution though....ours don't if they can take the animals without court or police back-up.

That's disgusting treatment of an animal. I'm so glad Dave has found his way to safety

Re: Litte Dave Has Arrived....
Because he was handed over, we can't take any action We really need the laws to be changed.
I didn't call him Dave, it was the Officer who brought him in! It is better than his original name of "bubbles!"?
I have just come home and let him hop around upstairs, whilst I have a bath. If I let him hop around down stairs, Ratman will never come out of his sulk.

Oh that's awful, how can people behave like that?

Same with ours, we've had some absolutely shocking neglect cases that were never pursued because the animals were handed over voluntarily. I thought you would like Bubbles.....it's Jackson-esque....
