Hi All,

I dont know how many of you read about my experiences volunteering on xmas day - well I enjoyed working with the bunnies soooo much that i decided I would like to help again.

I work long hours and also am in the grips of study so can only manage a sunday a month at the moment but would still like to help. Anyway I filled in an application form a while ago and have just had no response. So i thought that I would just see if there is anyone else out there in my area who might like someone who loves bunnies and is happy to clean bunny poo, feed and provide lots of love and cuddles once a month?????

I live in the Portsmouth area and happy to travel as far as southampton / chichester.

If anyone knows of anyone that can make use of me please let me know.

Hi Katie

Yes, I filled in a form too and have heard nothing. Having said that, I wouldn't want to go back to Cat and Rabbit at the moment as the last time I went there was to pick up Justin's little body. I need a break before I could cope with returning there - it has such sad memories for me now as I visited him there while he was poorly.

There is a rescue in Southampton I noticed when I was looking for a possible new bunny on the internet last night. Not sure if they would want volunteers. I was thinking of maybe offering my own services as it looks a much smaller set-up than Cat and Rabbit. I think it's called Southampton Rabbit Rescue run by someone called Sue and her husband and family.
