Re: locksley is going in (update he's home)
plum tomatos, not quite
he has turned rosies health around though she is now maintaining her weight of 0.8kg, when mowgli left her weight just kept dropping off her, she is much happier in herself now she has a new man
i hope the vet nurses let me have him back, as they all love him

Re: locksley is going in (update he's home)
he's been done already and slowly waking up , he's a good boy, they said if i don't here from them in next few hours, then i can collect him at about 3pm
they gave me total on phone £70 neuter but it will be £65 for us on healthy pet club, she asked if i wanted them to give something called fibreplus or something didn't quite hear, its benefits bunnies who been under anesthetic with probiotic stuff, she said that about £13 soo i said yes
can't believe he's been done already

Re: locksley is going in (update he's home)
he's home , the vet nurses said as soon as i walked through door ohhh no, you rnot having him back he's ours , they saud he is funny as he loves all the fuss all his hair is all ruffled up with being cuddled
they said he was acting like royalty because of the way he lay and making sure he stayed on the snugglesafe heatpad lay out on it
as soon as i dropped him off the vetnurse said he was straight in his food bowl and lapping up all attention and nosying, she said he thought it was like a little holiday, day out for him, it made them laugh, as they never had such a friendly bunny in before
they have given him fibreplex for me to give him, and he has come home with a months free pet insurance from petplan, i have never insured my rabbits, soo something to look into maybe, especially with the amount rosie has been costing me

Glad Locksley is home from his de-plumming.
He sounds like such a friendly wee character - lucky you got him back by the sound of it! Hope he recovers well.

Re: locksley is going in (update he's home)
he and rosie are back together, now what do i do ? seperate at bedtime as i have been doing or keep together? in mowgli's last year we also separted him and rosie at night, i think i may do the same, the way rosie is on her legs, they seem used to it, i just don't know
the reason we did it with rosie and mowgli is last january she really attacked him, but she was very hormonal, i doubt she will be like this now she isn't as strong, but the small part of me remembers this too well
and if i do keep separate at night then rosie will be able to have her special feed for elderly buns with glucosamine in without locksley eating it
