Josephine & Bruce - warning pic heavy

Here are my rabbits Josephine (small white) and Bruce.

Bruce is 2-3 times as big as Jose, but she has him under her thumb.

Josephine when she was a baby - she had helicopter ears initially, then settled into being a proper lop.


Together when they were recently bonded.


And more recently

They are both stunning! They look very heathy and happy.

Bruce was a bit portly when I first got him, he's lost a bit of weight, but is still a big bunny. I love them so much

He just HAD to be called Bruce living in Oz.

You know, everyone in MY country pisses themselves laughing when they are told his name.

Bruce = images of a true blue aussie bloke come to mind. Larger than life, massive beer gut, with his stubbie and blue wifebeater, driving his truck on the open road. He's sweating and it's 35 degrees, but he's tough, he's not going to turn on the air conditioner yet... not til it reaches 40.

And then my Bruce is quite huge for the limited breed of rabbits we have in Aus, but so obviously very lovely, sweet, gentle and completely not the truck driver stereotype, even though he's the equivalent size as a bunny truck driver.

Josephine was once the Empress of France, but she was exiled and divorced. Now she has found Bruce, she doesn't yet understand that she's NOT the centre of the world She looks after him well, quite maternal with him sometimes, she grooms him every day and looks after him well.
