I'd like to introduce you to Lois AKA 'little chicken'
I can't change the title for some reason but I'm updating to say that 'Lois' is now 'Elijah' after a trip to the vets
I is Lois, this is me being cheeky
me enjoying a nose rub
me just looking sooo cute
me making my humin give me nose rubs (I teef purred in this picture)
She was dumped on a door step about 2 - 3 weeks ago. I'm currently 'fostering' her. She's mine but I took her on with the intention of getting her back to good health (she was very thin when found), vaccinated and spayed then finding the perfect home for her ... but she keeps buzzing, grooming me, binkying and happy flopping. ...and she uses a litter tray well. I really do get won over by licky bunnies

She's so beautiful! I love all these stories of failed fosters! Although I have to admit licking bunnies are my weakness too

Re: I'd like to introduce you to Lois AKA 'little chicken'
Thanks everybody, she is indeed beautiful
Well, she's been to the vets this morning and FHB said although she's thin she is well enough for her myxi jab
And 'she' is also booked in for castration in two weeks time (you couldn't miss 'em really)
Anyhow, she'd now like to be know as Elijah (but there's still some debate that it might be 'Lewis')
Well, the other news. 'He' is not a baby - he could well be fully grown (he's tiny compared with my other bunsters). FHB thinks he's been hungry over a long period of time She also said his teeth aren't perfect and she isn't surprised that he doesn't eat much hay, though his teeth are not bad and there's no reason to believe he will have dental problems in the future. I'm wondering if he's thin because previous owners only offered him hard food and he just couldn't cope with it
Between us we think the lady I got him off did look after him well, probably knows the person who neglected him (it's easier to say he was abandoned ) and he hasn't seen a vet a few weeks ago like I was told
Anyhow he's safe now and those rather large plums won't be there much longer.
Caused a fair bit of confusion at reception when I said I wanted to book Lois for a castration.

I haven't managed to change the title (tried a few times) but the updated news is that Lois is in fact a bloke Bad news for Henry I'm afraid It does however mean Lois/Elijah is more likely to stay here

Re: I'd like to introduce you to Lois AKA 'little chicken'
Thanks everybody for your lovely comments.
Elijah had a sore looking eye yesterday and I panicked because he was only 4 days after having his myxi jab so I thought the worst. It turns out he has a blocked tear duct.... better than myxi which would almost certainly have been the end for him but his eye was protruding, a 'thingamybob' tested the pressure in his eyes and they themselves are alright. He's having skull radiographs tomorrow to find out if it's tooth roots or an abscess, plus tear duct flush and neuter. Poor baby He's such a happy little soul, I'm really hoping it's nothing too serious and will just be nuisance value to him (It certainly didn't seem to be bothering him at the weekend, just looked sore). He's in the excellent care of FHB so in the best hands
