Sweetpea has been to the vets...not eating pellets
well this time it is Sweetpea who has gone off her pellets, she has been eating bits of veg but not much so I took her to the vets earlier, got Metoclop and some fibreplex. He said her stomach felt slightly doughy but not bloated or anything...she seems happier since we got back but is still not wanting pellets. My poor baby hasn't licked me today which is always a bad sign
What with this and Poppy's fussy eating I am wondering if there is something wrong with a few on the pellets in this batch

Hope it's just the pellets and nothing more serious.

Re: Sweetpea has been to the vets...not eating pellets
Probably a silly question but its not her teeth causing the problem is it ?
She may not want to eat hard food like pellets. Have you tried making them soft by pouring boiled water on them then allowing them to cool.
If she eats soft food and soggy pellets I'd say she has a tooth/tooth root/jaw problem.
Hope she is back to full on munching soon

I would have also suspected dental issue's but out of curiosity what food brand is it?
Re: Sweetpea has been to the vets...not eating pellets
They are on Science Selective, they all went off it when they changed the texture a little while ago, but started again after a couple of days...well except Poppy who I had to give excel lite for a while
Sweetpea is eating again this morning
I thought it might be teeth as she's a nethie and her front teeth are a little uneven. They vet checked as best he could but said if it continues he may give her a GA to see the very back.
All ok today though
I am just finishing a sack of SS so am considering changing them to something else, maybe A&P?

...........I can never quite manage a whole sack in one sitting.............
Glad to hear that Sweetpea is eating better now.
Most of my Buns have A+P but it was a real battle of wills to get them to change over to it from SS.
Mine also have these

They love them !!

The thing is they used to love SS, I mean they really went crazy for it so I am reluctant to change but I am so fed up with different batches having different texture or whatever, I know it's a natural product so I guess it could happen with others too.

I know what you mean as my lot loved SS but my bank balance didnt.
I was paying £17 for a 10kg sack of SS which lasted no more than a week.
I now pay £6 for a 20kg sack of A+P which lasts at least 2 weeks.
