London Pics!
Had mad 24 hours. Got to Londond on Friday evening. The hotel Damien's work puts him up in is sooooo posh. I thought I was going to get kicked out. Anyway, couldn't work the state of the art shower, so had a bath and got ready to go our for dinner. We went down to the hotel bar first and met one of our friends has been doing some work at Time Out magazine As you will see from the pics, the rooms overlook the middle of the hotel. They are opaque and therefore not see through UNLESS you have the light on. Someone should have told the lady in her thing and t shirt bending over in front of the window to show us her breakfast. I tried to get a pic but Dame said I might get arrested! So then we went for dinner just opposite St Pauls. Then our friend Jimmy, caught a train and we decided to walk to Westminster and catch a political vibe. I was three sheets to the wind so it was an arduous walk for Damien I think!
We got there just in time for the 10 O'Clock news to go live and there were loads of TV tents there so we watched a lady for News at Ten do her piece to camera. It was so exciting to be there at this time when we are in the midst of historical politics. Anyway after that we were knackered so got the tube back to hotel. We slept in a huge bed. Was so weird. I had to move my pillows nearer to Dame as wasn't used to being that far apart.
The next day Dame went off to do his walk and I met my cousin Jo who lives in London and we headed off for the day. she works at the Royal College of Surgeons and took me round the museum there. There were alsorts of things pickled in jars from the 1700's It was fascinating. The sad part was seeing foetus's in jars. Starting from 7 weeks and going up to full term babies. They were all girls and what really suprised me was how perfect they were, even at 7 weeks. It was so moving. It really got to me.
There were also skeletons of 7 weeks old babies and their skeletons were perfect, fingers, toes the lot. I couldn't believe it?!? They were like perfect tiny people. So weird.
Then for my fave bit, pickled willies!!!! It was hilarious. They all had something awful wrong with them including std's. Gross.
Then we went onto Pineapple Dance Studios where I got totally over excited as they did an MJ dance class. I didnt' know that you can just go in there and do a lesson for £6! I wanted to do one but didn't have the time or co- ordination!
Anyway here are some pics!
Our Bloomin Lush Bedroom (I wanted to move in).
View from our room
Huge sparkly post in hotel.
Massive screens in hotel lounge with fish swimming round them. The room with the light on is where the lady was showing people her smalls!
The lift shaft. Right next to it, on left hand side as you look at it, 3rd window from top, was our room!
Me (looking rough) and Dame in the restaurant
Stunning St Pauls.
Photo taken from Millenium Bridge
St Pauls from the Embankment
Pretty Lights!
London Eye (I took this by pointing and pressing as if I actually looked up at it I felt sick and wanted to get on the floor.
Approaching Westminster
London Eye as we headed away from it.
Protestors on Parliament Square
Media outside Westminster

Re: London Pics!
What a great time you had and how fancy was that hotel!!! Lovely pictures but the lady in her smalls would have completed it. Bad Damien for being so sensible and where are the pictures of the picked willies! If you'd known, you could have taken your one too.

Re: London Pics!
You should have pretended to be a foreigner. We can usually get away with a "oooh! I'm sorry!" and wonder away looking lost if they notice you taking a photo
Looks like an amazing couple of days.
