Eppie and Her Baby Suit
We have recently had a run of very poorly bunnies.
One is a bun who was seen straying for at least 4 days before a lady managed to catch her.
She is the most matted rabbit I, or the vet, has ever seen
the pics don't show it well but she was really bad
Her chin/chest
the little girl herself, now named Eppie.under her long strands she was one big tight tangle
and yesterday she went in to be sedated and shaved as it was too severe for me to deal with
and here she is in a baby suit to keep her warm
and to show how bad she was, here she is next to the matts/fur that was taken off

Bless her heart. She is so cute. You could make yourself a new rug out of all that fur Jill!

Re: Eppie and Her Baby Suit
Wow, that is one ****** off rabbit! I wouldn't put your fingers anywhere near her for quite a while.
What an amazing amount of fur. She'll be so much more comfortable to have all that lot off.
One of my buns has been moulting like crazy and the local bird population are making lots of visits to collect all his old fur. Some cosy nests around here.
