My rabbits are very good they go in their cages even if they are out the cage they go back in and go toilet unless they are really desperate then they poop on a plastic bag, we usually have a plastic bag lying around and they go on there.

My OH did the clean outs today becaue I'm not feeling brilliant. He reckons we've got a phantom bunny visiting because two little buns the size of sooty and sweep could not possible produce the quantity and size pooh that they do!!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Yes, it never ceases to amaze me too. I sometimes feel like I spend half my waking hours picking up bunny poo - and I only have 2 little monsters!

I agree. I did a big clean yesterday of all the buns - I usually alternate indoor and outdoor buns but had run out of newspapers so the outdoor buns had to wait Crying or Very sad - and I was amazed at how much mess there was. I know I now have eight buns but even so - they are only small animals. I don't understand how they produce such a huge amount of mess!!

I was almost at the point of buying newspapers just to put in the hutch. I seem to get through so many and don't buy them myself.

If it isn't mixed up too much with hay, I tend to pop it onto the garden as it is nice and easy and pelleted.

I noticed on another forum that someone has put hers up for sale on Ebay!

Ask your neighbours to let you have any newspapers that they have once they are finished. My next door neighbour and my MIL collect for me and I always have loads of papers.

I've tried that. My neighbours only get a paper on a Sunday. I usually get a few from colleagues but have been off work which is why I had run out.

Hopefully, there should be lots in the office tomorrow.

I do find it difficult getting enough papers though. I only have eight buns so I don't know how rescues and sanctuaries manage!
