I'd like to introduce...
Stuart (AKA Stewie Bunsta)
He's an Ermine Rex, and was found at 5 weeks old, wandering the streets. His claws were completely eroded, and he was picked up and given to the RSPCA who then passed him to Jane Dexter's rescue.
We have been in contact with her for the past few weeks, and have been following his progress and personality very closely. He's very much a people's bunny, loves his cuddles and is completely fearless, confidant and gregarious Considering what a rough start he had, he just seems to want human contact more than anything. We've put him up in a cage in the lounge for now, but he was out last night and seemed completely unphased by the 3 hour journey home, and his new abode, and went on a mass chinning exercise to claim the place as his own, bless
He's now about 15 weeks, and had his neuter last Monday. So we have a teenager on our hands... wish us luck!
It was a difficult decision to have another already, but sometimes just one thing that someone says to you can make all the difference, and someone on here said this, which I'm really grateful for..
"You just have to look at him and say 'You know what, you're going to have the best life any bunny could wish for, and that's all down to this amazing little rabbit called Bertie'
We both shed a tear or two last night for little B, but feel that we honouring his life in the best way we can

Re: I'd like to introduce...
Jay - I am shedding tears again! This is wonderful news and I know that little Stewie has now landed with his little fluffy bottom, firmly in the butter tub! I am pleased for all three of you and look forward to hearing about the mayhem this teenager brings to your house. Bertie will approve, I know it.
Re: I'd like to introduce...
Massive Congratulations. He is beautiful and is one lucky bunny!
Cant wait to know him better, hear about all his adventures.
Cant wait to meet this little fella.
Bertie is smiling right now. I know it.

Re: I'd like to introduce...
I am delighted to hear this. You will still mourn Bertie's loss, but Stewie will be such a catalyst for you. His antics and activities will constantly take you back to Bertie in a good way, so he will live on forever.
He is a very handsome chap and to have survived the wide world at 5 WEEKS old!!! He is lucky and deserves the wonderful home he'll get with you two.
No doubt the chinning is extensive. Bet that Daisy spread himself around recently. Lots of work for Stewie to do.

Thank-you He's settling in just great, and has already found his 'nap' corner He's very very bright, and intensly inquisitive I think the teens are going to be quite an adventure
I'll put up his first photo shoot later

I am absolutely delighted for you both and for Stewie Bunsta. After such a bad start, he now has a life of luxury to look forward too. Have fun you three, and I cannot wait to hear of your progress Stewie. x

Re: I'd like to introduce...
When I read the title of the post I was so hoping you had rehomed a bun. I am soooo pleased you have. You have so much to offer a bun and there are so many who need wonderful fovever homes. Stewie Bunsta is gorgeous and I am sure Bertie would approve and is looking down from the Bridge encouraging Stewie to get into all sorts of mischief. If you watch your new bun, you may sometimes see him staring apparently at nothing - animals are more intuitive than we are. Bertie will be around
