Re: Here Are Some Pics Of Mummy To Be
Are you gonna keep all the kittens? You are going to have a house full!
Re: Here Are Some Pics Of Mummy To Be
Not decided as of yet if I rehome I am going to be very fussy and make sure that the people want a kitten and I will do a little care package too. I will also say that any problems to bring them back to me and they won't go until at least 12 weeks old.

Re: Here Are Some Pics Of Mummy To Be
Hope it all goes well. How much longer has she got left? We have over 100 in at our RSPCA branch at the moment (the most we have ever had) and have had to do alsorts of appeal for funds and homes. I go out and do the home visits and hate it when you go and know this home is unsuitable and that there is no way they can take one of your animals. I wish you luck!
Re: Here Are Some Pics Of Mummy To Be
Thank you I will keep them for as long as neccesary and I will always be available if problems arose i'd be willing to take them back rather than them being given to RSPCA or even dumped somewhere. Vet said he thinks there is 10 days give or take so she is very far along but she isn't overly big. i will try and also see about getting the kittens neutered before they go to a new home aswell. Do you think that would be a good idea?

Hmm yeah I always see adverts in the paper for "kittens free to good home" because the people can't find new homes for them :/

Re: Here Are Some Pics Of Mummy To Be
Ohh no I'm not judging you , just agreeing about it will be hard to find good homes for them! It's good that you are willing to keep them if it's not possible, do you know if she is going to have a small or big litter? Or is it just a surprise?
I want to get a cat when we move next year, well we already have one but she's my mums old lady

Nah, I dont know - Not at the expense of animals in rescue. Also having taken in a pregnant cat & watching her give birth, it was one of the most harrowing experiences of my life, seeing the fear & confusion in her eyes. Sure as hell wouldnt be putting an animal I loved through it for the sake of 'experience' but hey, each to their own?!

They are going to so beautiful! Calico x Black & White BSH. Gizmo is the father of the kittens and he couldn't tell how many there were but he said she is definately having them. She is quite small so I don't think she is having many. I'll definately keep them as long as it is neccesary much tomy partners dismay but what I say goes here

Re: Here Are Some Pics Of Mummy To Be
She's gorgeous! I think its great what you're doing, you've clearly thought about it and are willing to keep them rather than giving them to bad homes.
I bred my rabbits earlier this year and people judged me for it but i wanted the experience and was willing to keep all of them if need be (:
p.s. i hope you're going to put lots of pictures on here once theyre born !

Re: Here Are Some Pics Of Mummy To Be
She looks like a Domestic Short Hair to me not a BSH Moggie?
Just so you are aware, there are far too many kittens and cats in rescues, I just dont see the need to bring in more cross breeds into the world when so many are being put down all the time I'm not having a go at you at all, just thought you should be aware of it. Just take a look here at the amount of cats Celia Hammond has in at the moment - http://www.celiahammond.org/.
All I can say is best of luck with her litter and hope it goes smoothly for her and the babas.
