Any spare Vibes for Daisy please.
He has been for a dental today and is just refusing to eat.
He is lethargic and doesn't look right.
There is nothing I can do right now either. I dont want to take him to the vet tonight because I am worried that it will upset him more and he'll become more stressed and its only "Vets now" there at the moment too.
I start my new job in the morning and so I'm not going to be able to take him in the morning either.
If you have any spare vibes going please can you send them to daisy. He needs to eat!

Re: Any spare Vibes for Daisy please.
What have you tried to tempt him with? I know when Jelly had her dental she scoffed right away, but when we had a foster bunny , Cookie, he was very sore afterwards and he would only eat soft things.
We tried:
Softened oats with apple baby food and he wolfed that down, he was hungry he just couldnt eat hard things.
Banana
I hope Daisy feels better soon

Oh what a worry for you Katie. Try the apple sauce idea as they usually love something sweet. Sending lots of vibes for him. xx

Re: Any spare Vibes for Daisy please.
Oh no how worrying. Have you tried force-feeding him some critical care to start him off? When Josephine has her dentals she refuses to eat anything except for raisins - so she got a lot of those!
Sending many vibes for the little man.

Thanks everyone.

I know when Jelly had stasis although not related to teeth, the only thing she would eat is wet grass.

Oh what a worry. When Furby wouldn't eat I tried some bread to tempt him and fenucreek crunchie. Pineapple juice can sometimes awaken their appetite too. Dandelion leaves usually work but not sure if there are any around now.
Good luck with your new job.

Oh dear, that's so worrying. Hopefully it's just a case of him being a bit slow to start eating after his dental.
Sending lots and lots of eating vibes to Daisy. x

Re: Any spare Vibes for Daisy please.
Well we had no poo overnight, but did have a little runny poo this morning. We have given him some more critical care and he has nibbled a teeny bit of grass.
Ive given him some metacam too in case anything was hurting him.
Work is going to be hell this morning as he needs me here. Im going to see if I can get a lunch break for about 12 so that I can come home and try and get some food in him.
He's moping and is not at all bright eyed.
Going to ring Mr Chitty at 8 but I cant take him there even if I needed to. Goes without saying that I have had zero sleep. I wish he would eat something. Im so worried.

Re: Any spare Vibes for Daisy please.
Hun I sympathise I really do. I think it is positive that he has nibbled a bit of grass. Lts hope he eats by lunchtime. Hugs for you and eating vibes for Daisy
Re: Any spare Vibes for Daisy please.
Oh Katie Bunnies are such a worry at times
Hopefully nibbling at grass is a good sign and it encourages him to eat some more.
Sending loads of vibes for Daisy and for you xxx

Re: Any spare Vibes for Daisy please.
I've spoken to Katie a couple of times this morning, Daisy is drinking lots, and Katie's going to put some pro-b's in his water. He's also eaten a few strands of grass and some hay, as well as his stewed apple. He's going to get some mashed up pellets syringed as well. This is pretty much what he did when he was here for the first 3 days, he really doesn't respond well to stress, however, he is eating something, so he's hopefully on the turn around.
Don't they just pick their time eh? She's spoken to John, and will do again at lunch, and he can go back up there, if needs be tonight. This is one of those situations when I wish I could drive, and I could get over there to monitor and feed him today
ETA: Daisy has pooed Only on a rabbit forum could this be exciting news
