Angel

this is Angel, the other baby bunny we got out of the pet shop and took for a check up and treatment at our vets.
Angel & Gypsy.
Angel 2004
Angel had no tear duct's and so his eyes would weep all the time this would make his face wet and it would set like glue and the fur would come off and be red raw underneath Mike would put cream on and the fur would grow and it would start all over again with the wet fur and fur loss.
With Angel being taken from his Mother at such an early and important stage of his life his immune system was very low and so he would get infection after infection, we loss count of the many abscesses he had which we treated with Manuka honey .
Mike absolutely loved Angel and Angel loved and trusted Mike .
In 2010 Mike noticed Angel was getting sore hocks and he was taken to the vet's and he was on meds and had special bedding and Mike would bandage his poor hocks for him and they just didn't get better then to Mike's horror one day he found a tiny bone on Angel's bedding and he had a small hole in his foot and Mike rushed him to the vet's, and our vet said bring him in the following day and we will x-ray him.
What they found was Angel had the worse case of Osteomyelitis in his bones they had ever come across, the bones in his feet were just crumbling to bits and the bone we found was from one of his feet. We thought he was walking bad due to his sore hocks how very wrong were we
There was only one kind thing left to do for him and that was have him pts, Angel always use to lick Mike's face and as Mike held him so the vet could put him to sleep Angel started licking Mikes face and Mike said it was the saddest moment of his life and he still hasn't got over it. He will not talk about Angel to this day as he finds it to upsetting.
