Re: timothy hay meadow hay or alfalfa
Alfalfa hay is good for baby buns, but it adult buns shouldnt have it.
After that I think its just a matter of what they prefer to munch on. My Daisy wont touch timothy, but loves meadow hay.
Here is a link to an earlier question on Alfalfa hay - I hope this helps although I expect someone will be along soon who can answer you more specifically.

I would probably introduce all three so that bunny doesn't get used to alfalfa and then miss it. Adult rabbits should only have it sparingly as it is too rich for them.

Re: timothy hay meadow hay or alfalfa
I've never given alfalfa hay to my bunnies even when they were babies in case they did get too used to it and refuse other hay. It is fine for babies though mine eat anything now but they only used to eat timothy, it might be worth giving a mix to trick them into eating a variety

Re: timothy hay meadow hay or alfalfa
That is fine for every day all hay apart from alfalfa and readigrass is fine for every day. Oat hay is always popular but it's expensive so mine get it as a treat!
Those bags used to last me about a week or so when I had a pair so will probably last you longer.

Sounds fine. If you are using it just for food will prob last you two or three weeks depending on how much he eats.
