They can both be done at the same time I can't see the problem with it.

I dont think it makes a huge difference, i would look at what suits you best.

If you have to take time off of work then maybe its best for at the same time, if you are unsure of what do do etc and would rather not split your time between them, then maybe go for seperately.

I think if it was me I would get them both done at once, its a routine procedure so i think you will be fine bringing them both home at the same time etc x

I would get them done together too Smile

They might get a little bit of comfort from each other at the vets if they can see/smell each other, particularly before the procedures. Plus, they will both be recovering at the same time, so you won't have one wanting to play and the other wanting to rest.

It's unusual for vets to do it at 4 months. I know some do but it's not very common I don't think.

Are there any risks hoppers?

Bruce and Flo were both done around the 4 month mark. I think rabbits are considered to recover better at 6 months but they can be done as soon as they hit sexual maturity so 3-4 months in bucks and 4+ months on does. The advantage of having them done early is that it stops them learning behaviours (Bruce has never sprayed and very quickly gave up his obsession with my feet!). I just depends on how confident the vet is I think.

Our humans found it easier to bond our little ones by having them done together. They were stoned together and sobered up together.

I remember when I was done, I didn't want Mrs Doyle near me for a few days.
