Wouldn't use either... dust in eyes, up noses and down throats. Plus some dust/shavings may be from treated woods or types of wood not good for buns tums. Always use magazorb myself.

Wood shavings aren't really recommended as bedding for rabbits because they can get into their eyes and scratch the cornea. The dust can also cause respiratory problems and get tangled in fluffy bunny's fur.

The best kind of bedding is hay on a covering of newspaper or megazorb.

Have you checked out the fact section as it has loads of information on bunnykeeping. I learnt such a lot by just reading those threads. Everyone thinks that bunnies are easy to keep, but there is such a lot to learn.
