creating a warren

Well I have been outside with the cable ties again! I was looking at a picture in a library book that showed a cross section of a warren and my mind started whirling around.....

Currently I have a 30 odd foot tunnel from the main hutch and run to a second run in the corner of the garden. Problem is, they can't turn around in it once in, and frequently I see one of them almost make it to the end when another bun decides to go down the tunnel from the opposite end, forcing the other bun to trundle backwards back to where they started:roll:

So I made a junction box and added another pipe, kind of creating a warren system of tunnels, take a look!

Yes they are runaround tunnels. If you want meters and meters of them it's prob best to buy direct from a supplier, they are perferated land drainage pipes. Runaround sell them quite reasonably but everything else they sell is extortionate! I make my own bits and peices to join my tunnels up now. Thank goodness for cable ties!

That is amazing, I wish we could do something like that but Phil would go mad. Juno is already in disgrace for having started digging holes in the lawn this month out of the blue!
