Have you considered going down the cake ingredients route. I got my resuce pigs at the time I was making the christmas cake at the time so I named them after the spices I was putting in the cake.

I think names like cinnamon, treacle, cocoa, toffee, coffee are all quite unisex.

Re: names. any suggestions
I've always found buns seem to name themselves. But you might go down the surname route
Robinson, Murphy, Dixon, Smith, Jones etc. Just put Mr or Miss in front according to their sex.
Don't do like a friend of mine did, she named her labrador RAPE. Last thing at night she would be out in the garden shouting for her dog... it made life quite interesting as she lived across the road from a pub!

You also need to do the Vet Reception test. Shout the name out with your surname.
Maybe Twinkle Robertson, isn't such a good choice!

Thumper...
It's true! Her name was Rose and she was a local "character". The dog lived to a ripe old age and every night at closing time Roses dulcid tones could be heard yelling, "RAPE! RAPE! GET IN D*** YOU!"

Vince... Bogey? After Humphrey Bogart no doubt.
Two villages away from me a woman has two cats called Con and Dom! That makes interseting listening when she calls them from her upstairs window.

Or you could call them after drinks, Murphey, cider, guinnes, rose, Gordon's, etc!!
There were a pair of identical twins when i was at school called Tia and Maria, funny till we realised their mum was an alcoholic!! then it just seemed weird!!
That would be like calling your kids Benson and Hedges if your a smoker!!!
seriously though don't ask me for names, i spent months and ended up calling him a typical bunny name of Buttons!

Re: names. any suggestions

Re: names. any suggestions
Think Tia and Maria odd names for humans? Get a load of this...
My mum had 4 kids. I'm Delia Sarah Ann, I've 3 brothers... Oscar Lawrence, Barry and.... wait for it... my eldest brother (who is actually a half bro and was illigitamate) was registered by my grandmother, who was determinded he should bear his fathers name (this was in 1928) and his surname was hyphenated so my poor bro was named ROLAND DOUGLAS HAMILTON SHASKI TUPLIN!
We all called him Tom!
