can charlie jump

Charlie had his opp yesterday, (neutered) he is going stir crazy in the dogs crate, I let him out for 10 mins but he keeps jumping on the sofa, vet says he isnt to jump but never said how long for, I cant have him getting stressed and unhappy its only going to prolong his recovery. I got some toys in for him but he got bored with them and wanted to wander about.
If he is like this in the crate after a 1 night stay in it, I can only imagine what that poor giant bunny is going through when this is the size of its house that the idiots keep her in constantly. (she is 3 times size of charlie) makes us sooooo mad.

Called the vet, he can get out the crate but not to jump about like a nutter doing binkies everywhere, as long as were in the room with him all the time (which we are anyway) thank god poor wee scone is going daft in the crate.

aww, our twink was done a few days ago and she is out in the yard I cant belive how well she has healed, like super quick! but she dont jump about she just runs like a nutter lol x

He does both, can always tell when he is happy, he back flips almost lol

lol, when mine was first let out they used to binky loads but I recon they are spoilt now

spike was like that,let her out the day after and she was running around and jumping in the window,snowflake was a few more days to recover

Charlie was loosing his temper earlier, having a hissy fit, he got out for 10 mins seemed to calm him down, he even tried to climb up the crate on the hay keeper rack, nearly lept out my skin last thing he needs is his stitches tore out never mind burst.

lol i had some old trays,so i brought them in the house and fixed a run around,i had to fix wire to the top as spike jumped over,spike sounds a lot like Charlie

He is a lovely wee boy deffo glad I went to Dobbies that day. Even tho I wasnt prepared I had his house built and ready within 5 days, some folk (not those on here) take months or never get round to making a proper build. I still want his run built so he can have access to it when I am out of the house without being worried about his safety, at the moment he cant go out in the garden unless someone is with him or the big dog is out to keep the hawks at bay. Bess wont go near him so she is ok to go out there but Bonnie thinks he's a toy for her.

Daft animal, gets let out to wander, and what does he do, goes back in teh crate and falls asleep lol with the door wide open. Oh well least he has the choice. He cant get comfi tho, keeps rolling on his back which ive never seen them do.

i love dobbies! could spend hours in there looking around.
they do take over your life,dont know if you have seen the cage my two are in but i never thought i would do that for them and the extension,they have cost me a fortune

Lovely to see he's bounced back so fast! Buns just don't know how to take it easy.

I would never have got a bunny unless I was willing to give him a proper home, warm, safe, and big thats only reason I didnt get one a while ago, was strongly going to towards rats, but they just dont live long enough for my family, the get REALLY attatched so wanted something they can love for longer, wasnt till I seen charlie I knew he was the one.
