Digging and biting me, he is extra frisky I think, lets say hubby was trying to stop him getting in corner with feather duster, lets say he thought it was a girl friend. He is scratching on my top and bit me today. He was snipped yesterday, will this pass after the 5 weeks or so.

He should calm over 6 weeks or so. If he is that wound up then it might be an idea to restrict his space so he cannot rupture his wound whilst being generally angry. Aggression is a natural pain reaction.

The feather duster......ah, that brings back memories.
Clawed was a free roaming, house/garden bun for the last 3yrs of her life and she sometimes got a bit uppity if I wanted her in and she didn't want to come. The one thing guaranteed to get her in was a long handled fluffy duster than I would drag along in front of her.... given the chance SHE would lunge on it and hump it!

Got a few funny looks did that!

Your lil fella should calm down as the op takes effect. And well.... look what you've done, he can be forgiven the odd scratch!

Hope he calms down.

Oscar bites me when he's trying to get me to fuss him Rolling Eyes and Bertie just bites if I try to pick him up (he's a grumpy old boy).

And people say that girls nip... neither of my girls bite!

Hopefully in the next few weeks he will settle down, snipping isn't instant unfortunately!

woodwench, the feather duster story made me ROFL

Tigger nips but it isn't intentional. She take such HUGE bites of spring green leaf when it's in my hand that no matter how far away I hold it from her mouth she will still get me.

The strange thing is he doesnt do it to the kids AT ALL so thats a good thing, only me, and only when he wasnt allowed to dig at me, mostly the chest, bleeding sore lol. Not sure if he was just playing as he didnt seem to attack just got over excited, he is alot calmer today tho I must admit, even vet was well impressed at his wounds and how calm he was against me in the exam.

Thumper was spayed a looooong time ago and unfortunately the digging has never stopped.

The vets we used at the time told us that she would stop digging and chewing/ripping newspaper.

They were wrong on both counts.

Hopefully your little man will be different Smile

The paper comes with the territory, its the digging on your body, they will dig outside that doesnt bother me but it hurts if he digs on my top, he's been a cheeky wee chat today but can understand why, he has been stuck in the crate longer since we were busy all day.

Buttons was just like this after getting him done, he went for me a few times, and was generally a grumpy bum. (i was worrying i shouldn't have got him done) but now he is the most loving bunny!!

maybe he's also hurting when you pick him up, I tended to lay on the floor and let Buttons hop on my chest and sniff my face of his own accord, and he happily sat there licking my nose, and now whenever i lay on the floor he hops on me!!! Very Happy

It's the digging of my new carpets I would love to be able to knock on the head Rolling Eyes

I don't give her newspapers anymore but if there is one left on the floor she will hop straight over and chew a piece off.

Cheeky madam Laughing

Funny that... about papers. Loll never touches any I put in to line the base of his letter tray or any paper thing I put down for him to play with. Yet start sorting through "official" papers, or lay down a new mag or book and there he is, testing the efficiency of his gnashers!

And I can tell you those tushes are bl**dy efficient!

You're lucky. When young Bruce used to run into the room, jump over the arm end of the sofa bite me on the boob and then run off.
