Hello from Indiana
Hello to all of you,
A week ago my wife decided to tell me that we were gonna get a rabbit for our three kids, lol. Not really, we talked about it and decided to go for it.
She had a rabbit when she was younger and knows a little about them, myself on the other hand am a dog person and know nothing about rabbits other than what I've learned over the last couple of days thanks to the net. I found this forum via you tube when I was looking up diy hutchs. Looking forward to talking with all of you and will definitely be needing advise once our new family member gets here.
Joe

Re: Hello from Indiana
I'm late as usual, but welcome
You should watch the boredom buster videos on youtube.. they're very informative and it sure kept my buns from chewing on stuff they weren't allowed to that way your buns can run around in not only the kitchen but also in the living room maybe?
Our entire living room is turned into a bunny room now
me and my boyfriend were both dog people too, but we have to pay taxes here if we want dogs but rabbits are just as fun if not more

Re: Hello from Indiana
With the current staffie problem here in the uk many people wish we had taxes for dogs here as well.

Re: Hello from Indiana
it's not a bad idea considering people will actually think twice about getting a dog instead of just buying one on impulse and not being able to afford it later on, but it is a shame for people who can afford to give them a good life, but not the monthly taxes that are soo expensive.
On the bright side it introduced us to rabbits
