Re: what was your first bunnies name?
My first bunny was a communal one! My boarding school have a collection of rabbits that were 'owned' by the Lower 3rds. Officially they were on rotation per term as there were not enough buns to pupils but mine - a Californian called Cuddles - was known for biting so I had her for the full year as no-one else wanted her. She never bit me. But she did go awol for a week then turned up again in the shed. 4 weeks later she had a litter of 4. When I look back the buns had a terrible life. 3 or 4 of them shared a purpose built enclosed hutch and run set up but the others were all in little hutches and we were only encouraged to clean them out once a week. I have told my pair what lucky buns they are not to live such a life but they are looking nonplussed.

Dylan. He was an albino netherland dwarf who sadly died whilst having his first dental, he never came around after it. I'll never forget it, I was in my room listening to "Whole of the Moon" when my mum came in in tears having just spoken to the vet. It hadn't even crossed my mind that he wouldn't make it.

Re: what was your first bunnies name?
Awww. So many Thumpers.
My first bunny was called Tinker. She was a massive New Zealand White who wasn't neutered (no-one realised much about buns, they were like expendable living teddy bears). Consequently, she was a bad tempered, grumpy girl who gave us all hell. She had the cats, us and the Postman terrified. She eventually beat her way out of the hutch by thumping the door repeatedly with an old Fray Bentos tin that we used as her food dish. I would like to think that she muscled her way down to the local warren and took over and ruled with a rod of iron, but she probably didn't.

Re: what was your first bunnies name?
It was CLAWED!
So named because when I took her to the vets a couple of days after getting her home and asked for a myxi jab and complete check up and claw trim he looked at he feet and said "Oh my, she is well clawed up!"
So, Clawed she became.

Re: what was your first bunnies name?
Our first bunny was called Normandy He/she didn't stick around for too long but he was the nicest bunny there was she would let you pick her up and hold her for ages without being too fussy
We never knew if it was a he or a she, so we called it Normandy that way we could easily nickname him Norman or Mandy

Re: what was your first bunnies name?
Honeycombe. I was 8, in my defence!
She was a very large mixed breed lop in a sandy fawn colour with the biggest dewlap you've ever seen. My Mum found her in the Free-Ads and took me to get her. She was 5 when we got her and lived until 8, my oldest ever rabbit to date.
She was a fiesty madam as well. I still have a scar from her on my arm and she once bit through my Dad's thumbnail.

I had a NZ White called Fluffy and my neighbour poisioned him by throwing slug pellets over the fence when I was at work, this was many years ago and when I let him out for a run in the garden..he ate them I was heartbroken.
This is Fluffy with Sooty Toothless my Dutch. Sooty hadn't any teeth at all and the vet was going to put him to sleep as she didn't think he could survive without any teeth but I grinded everything he ate and he was great

She was an old lady and she was evil and hated children, animals everything she made my life Hell for me and that same old lady collapsed in her back garden and I saw her on the ground and phoned an ambulance and went round to see if she was ok. I couldn't leave her there.
