Father Jack is not a happy bunny
I'll be blunt, I'm seething with jealousy
Young Taffy is getting bullied by his siblings so humum and hudad have bought him this:
Taffy's New Home
It should be arriving in the next few days and hudad will be "modifying" it to make the run area much bigger.
Oh I wish I could get some solitary confinement, oh for some peace and quiet

Taffy has also been told to take his pick of which of the girls to live with. I think he has his eye on one of the twins...

Re: Father Jack is not a happy bunny
It arrived on Thursday and it's still in the dining room in it's box. Hudad told me this morning when he brought our breakfast that humum had threatened to put it together last night I've seen how she wields hudad's power tools and I'm glad she didn't.
Hudad might put it together today if it stops raining. Hopefully I can nip in and claim it before Taffy gets in there

If I were you Father Jack when the new home for Taffy arrives I'd squat in it, you have squatters rights
Just move some bedding in it and get in there...go on, go on, go on

Re: Father Jack is not a happy bunny
Hudad knew Daddy had his eye on it, plus the weather is really manky, so he has put it together in the house
He's hoping it will come apart in just two pieces to go back outside.
Taffy is in there now getting used to it, with our sister Reggie for company. He's a bit wary of other buns now but she's quite laid back so they are getting on okay with only a little thumping.
The humans are fairly impressed - it's not massive and not really tall enough upstairs or down for a full periscope so not brilliant for a permanent bunny home on its own. But they'll be linking it to a big run, so it's really a home base for them. But it's quite well built and solid, well designed and went together pretty well using the pre-drilled holes. The ramp seems a bit steep and they're not sure how Taffy and Reggie will cope with that as they're used to hop-ups rather than ramps, but they can modify it if they need to.
Will post a pic later

Re: Father Jack is not a happy bunny
Well, hudad built it in the lounge this morning.
And here's Taffy and Reggie bonding.
Reggie wasn't impressed when she was stolen from the comfort of her bed though
They've really bonded well and their new abode is now outside. Hudad has built a platform for it to sit on because the concrete slopes quite a lot and the water builds up when it rains. I'll ask him to take some more pictures of it in situ when the rain stops.
