I think Loll thinks he's some kind of aquatic creature, maybe a seal. He keeps sitting by his water dish and patting the water with a paw. Not dabbling his tootsies... really whacking the water. Showering droplets everywhere.
What's going on in his head?

He's still at it! I've had to move his burgess about three feet away, it was getting soggy.
It's getting kinda embarassing. It's not exactly what one wants visitors to see.
