How Far He's Come... UD - page 2

Vince the Bunny just asked me to take some photos of Dougal for the portrait of them she is very kindly doing for me. I went over to him with the camera, and he came running over flicking his ears with excitement. Comparing these photos, to the ones I took on his first day here, you can just see how much more relaxed and happy he is. He's come so far in such a small amount of time.

I love these guys

The dried herbs are now fed in that box to try and stop him picking up the bowl!! He goes mental over them and has a habit of tipping them everywhere. He went to pick the bowl up this evening but a stern "Dougal" stopped it, I wouldn't have minded but I'd only just hoovered

this always happens to me, just after i have hoovered marsh makes a huge mess .....although today i hoovered and then dropped his bag of nuggets all over the carpet ..... nuggies everywhere!

i love the first and second pic also love the pic were his paw is guarding the dish

Can I make a little suggestion. Because she is so dark it is hard to see Florence clearly at times - the red rug doesn't help. Have you a white sheet or towel you could put her on for a few photos. The white will bounce up some light to give a clearer idea of her shape. Not so great for Dougal but may help VtB a little?

I swear there is dried cannabis or something in those dried herbs. He knows where the container is kept and if I go anywhere near it he's there, that's part of why he came running over with these photos I think If you pick it up, that's it, feed him or else

It's sweet he's so confident now, even if it only is when food is around.

It was mainly Dougals face I was trying to get, but he just had food on his mind

You can see he is more relaxed and got his paws under the table he really is a handsome boy Carla, they make a gorgeous couple

I've been trying to get a video of Florence grooming him but he doesn't like being filmed yet!

He's stunning! I'm so glad you have him as he is so happy and so is Florence

They are all snuggled together now I think Florence is dozing off. She is in complete love with him, we've had no squabbles or anything. He comes up to us for tickles, he loves being tickled between his ears, and often Florence will come over and join in. Then she takes over as if to say "he's mine".

It's sweet when you think they met three weeks ago today and haven't been apart since, it was just meant to be.

Her myxi booster is due soon, so I'm going to see if the vet can give him a once over at the same time. When he was neutered in December his teeth were checked and they were fine, so that's a relief. He eats so much hay too I don't think I have too much to worry about. He eats well, drinks well and is just a joy. Goodness he's lazy though

He is absolutely lovely, very similar to my Snuffie.

I was brushing Dougal! She takes offence to it sometimes

However I have to get the remainder of his thick fur off his bum, she keeps tugging at it, which annoys him, and if she does get a tuff she eats it And you can tell where he's been sitting as he leaves behind a white mat!

They are a pair of lovely little poppets.
