perfected the "I'm starving" face? Or are my two actually starving?

They have unlimited hay and they eat it so I'm not sure how they could be starving, but they look so hungry

OH was eating a bit of baguette and cheeky Junior was up on his back legs begging for a bit. I've never known a rabbit to mooch before so I'm a bit concerned

ha ha Sheamus is like this, he will even try to scavenge out of any unsupervised bins
He has unlimited hay at all times .... hes just a big moocher I think some rabbits will try anything for food, no matter how much they have.

I think all buns whether young or old have perfected the 'I'm starving' face. I often wonder if I feed my pair enough.

I'll never forget this day, Florence hadn't eaten her hay over night so I didn't give her her morning pellets. I was working from home that day and she kept giving me this look.



She was about 12 or 13 weeks old.

My two descend on their breakfast and tea with ravenous fury. However, they have unlimited hay and from the piles of poos they produce, I KNOW they aren't starving!

Phew!! I'm glad is not just my two then!! This must be the only game that Thumper never played with me!

I'm trying to remember how old she was, she may have only been 10 or 11 weeks. Either way she sussed me out quickly!! She also trashed her house in a strop and I had to give in.

That's probably why she's so stroppy now if she doesn't get her own way

It's a general bun thing, you feed them and then ten minutes later they are begging as though they haven't eaten for a month

This is all new to me!! Thumper was totally repulsed by our food, if there was a plate on the floor she'd go over for a sniff and then recoil in horror!!

She showed absolutely no interest in anything other than what she was allowed to eat. It's like she just knew what was ok to eat and what was bad. She really was a good girl

Eta, Ok l've just realised I lied She was a sucker for bread and toast. Not that she got it often! She was still a good girl though!!

Daisy will only eat stuff thats good for him too.

He wont even be tempted by a fenugreek crunchie! He's just not motivated by food at all though, he only eats because he has to, he hardly ever looks like he is enjoying it!

Thumper wholeheartedly loved what she loved, her little eyes would light up when presented with any of it but the things she did like we're few and far between.

How could you not feed her Carla Bless her little face. Mine do it too, "Mummy were starving" Mine get a bowl full of pellets per day sometimes 2!! And unlimited hay.
