RIP Po- 2000-2011

I just wanted to say RIP to my lovely blue dutch rabbit who sadly died last year. His brother- domino also had to leave us only a month after Po. Hopefully they are settled now. There old buddies are missing them as do the family. Po was a lovely cheeky boy who had reached 11 years old. We had only seen a vet a few weeks before his death for and eye infection and everything went ok, however the stress and old age just took him from us when we were out at school and work. It was an expected death so we had him inside and rested. He had not been himself for the few days leading to his death and our vet said he was one of the oldest bunnies he had treated and was surprised at how well he had recovered from the GA. Despite all this he is eating carrotts above us all and there is not a day that goes by that i dont think about our losses.

I know how hard it is for you, I lost my girl bun, Thumper, to a tumour in December. I had her for almost 11 years too.

They leave a massive hole in your heart.

Know how you feel we have lost 3 bunnies in 6 weeks the oldest being 7 and it's so very hard
