Dark poops Empty Dark poops

Molly and Junior are doing pretty dark poops! They are normal size and believe me, they are having no problems going!! Shocked

Could it be the newly introduced alfalfa hay that's causing it? I can't think what else it might be, nothing else has changed. They usually do golden poops scratch

Just wondered if anyone else has noticed this with their buns?

Thanks Smile

Deeva's fluctuate but I've noticed freshly 'laid poops' are much darker than older ones. I can't believe how much poop she can lay for such a small bunster!

My two's have been very dark recently as I've been giving them more grass. They had the run door open all day today and they ate quite a lot. I agree the dark poos are full of moisture and not crumbly and dry.
It's very strange when you see it though after a completely different colour!

I have been very concerned about Lucy Rose as her poop's are big and very light coloured and I have realised she is not drinking enough water so I have put a dish of water in the front room where she sit's. Her litter tray and water is in the kitchen and she has her breakfast in there but she sleeps and plays in the front room but I didn't put a litter tray in the front room as I want her to walk into the kitchen else she will never build the muscle up on her legs and of course I thought if she was thirsty she would walk into the kitchen but she is obviously not drinking much in a day. Hopefully she will now.
