Re: Noo - sad news.
Thank you for your kind words. I miss her so very badly, I can't bring myself to move her meds off the kitchen worktop yet.
Gabriel is unaffected at the moment. They were separated for a week when Noo spent a week indoors in March when she had the kidney problem. As he is such a livewire and dominant personality I don't it would be right to try and bond him into one of the other pairs. They are happy together (especially BJ and Rosie, loves young dream) and I think Gabe would disrupt the status quo too much.
I have some time off work during the bank holiday week so this would be a good time to find him a new ladybun. He is a very independant bun and was never really loved up with Noo but he does need the company, so the hunt is on for a partner. He would play chase Noo when out on the grass, and bless her she did seem to enjoy this too. Every time we stood and watched this we said we must film this. Now it is too late

Re: Noo - sad news.
aw Im so sorry hun Its heart retching when you lose a bunny or any pet for that matter, hopefully she will come to you in your dreams as my star (my dog) does in mine thinking of you xx
Re: Noo - sad news.
If you don't already have a favoured rescue, we have two from Tameside and they are both fabulous bunnies - Elaine seems to know all her inmates well and can pick out a bun to suit the personality of your existing bun.

Re: Noo - sad news.
You've just got to do things in your own time, be it a week, a month, a year or longer
I'm sorry you never got round to recording them playing chase in the garden, but remember, you can replay those memories in your head any time you like

Re: Noo - sad news.
Thanks Sparky, for suggesting Elaine. Rosie and Hollie came from Kay at Bunnyhops so I have spoken to Kay already. She has a couple of potentials so I have arranged to take Gabe across over the bank holiday weekend to see if he hits it off with one of these two. I have had a big cuddle with Gabe again this morning, I suspect he is missing the snuggles with Noo. He made no attempt to nip me and snuggled under my chin. Fingers crossed that there is a ladybun to make him happy.
