Hi

i have just purchased a 5ft x 2ft 2 storey rabbit hutch which i am very pleased with , but am now trying to source a plastic tray to line the floor, i've seen then in the hutches in pets at home and think they are a bonus to have would make the cleaning out easier plus they protect the floor from bunny wee's .

does anyone know where i could buy one ?

many thanks

You could either get some correx from a sign makers and make one yourself or you could put lino down in the hutch.

I have never seen them sold separately. I would thoroughly recommend lino lining though. Don't use self adhesive tiles as they won't stay stuck once it gets damp. Cushioned vinyl is quite good stuck down with PVA does the job. You can use the PVA as sealant around the edges.

The trays that come with hutches are a bad design according to hudad. They are shaped like a dish so they retain all the wee and rain creating a potential swimming pool. He says they should have drainage slots in them.

bit like the local outdoor swimming pool here then pale

Lino is best I found, get an off cut from a local carpet shop but make sure it's got some texture to it else it will be very slippy Thumbs Up
