The orphans - new pics

Humum is now convinced these guys are half-wild as they are so much less tolerant of humans than the other family. The agouti is slightly braver but can't quite bring himself to nose-bop a hoomin. The brown and white one is very shy. They certainly don't help at clean-out time but run to the other end of the hutch. Humum thinks they'll need a home where the hu-parents are happy to be fairly hands-off.

They are incredibly cute though

They are super cute. I bet they will get bolder when they discover fenugreek crunchies. As an owner of a half wildie I agree completely that they need specialist homes. As I have said before I shudder when I consider how Flo would have done in a family home. For me it is all her stand offish behaviour that makes her so entertaining. Whilst I do sometimes wish I had more cuddly buns, when we have had a moult year like this one I don't really feel like I am missing out on much!

They are so beautiful all of them but I definitely think they are half wildie they have those wildie bun gorgeous faces.

We don't know any details, just that she died when they were four weeks old so luckily just about old enough to cope without her.

what cuties, I'm sure with the right people behind them they will find the perfect home. I think a big problem is that people get rabbits expecting them to be this cuddly character which they aren't necessarily, but if the new hu-parents are fully aware of their needs they will find a perfect forever home

They are cuteness itself! I wish I could adopt the agouti one.
