Hi All,

I feel very bad as yet again I am here for advice, after no posting for ages. I feel awful but I am so short on time & to be really honest, after talking rabbit for what feels like 24 hrs a day (Rspca) - Sometimes my brain is a bit bunnied-out Embarassed I really am sorry xxx

If nobody minds, could you please have a look at the photos below & tell me - posture wise, does everything look 'right'? Dont want to say too much - just wanted to get others opinions

I can't see anything in those photos that causes me alarm. In the top one it does look like her front half might be twisted slightly to the right, but that could just be the way she is sitting. Can you get a photo from directly behind her? What is your concern?

She has arthritis in her back. She was really poorly a few weeks ago & I am convinced that her lower back has 'dropped'. I cant really explain it, I dont know if i am being paranoid?? Going to have her back re-xrayed next week - as it has been six months since her last xrays and she has deteriorated since then x

I can't see anything in the photo that would cause me concern but sometimes you cant tell from a photo without actually "seeing her". Give her a snuggle from me! x

Thank you for replying Love See, I really can see something wrong from the photos - whether it's because I see it in the flesh and therefore notice it, or because I know the difference from before, I'm not sure. I am reassured though (I think) that nobody has noticed much. (Fiver, ears are always like that & if head is tilted at all its from a previous illness (abscess burst her eardrum) Will book with the rabbit specialist for this one I think - my vet has done what he can. Will update once we have been. Thank you again xx

I might be wrong but to me she looks as if she is uncomfortable or in some discomfort and the way she is sitting I would say it's her back , do you know if she has arthritis in her spine at all ?

Sending her lot's of Vibes as she is gorgeous and hope it's nothing bad xxxxxxxxxx

As someone who had one bun who holds himself funny when he has belly ache and another who has had back issues this year I think that it looke like Rhia is tucking her feet under/arching her back up a bit. She certainly does not look happy. Do you giver her glucosamine and metacam? Arthriaid liquid (not the omega version) is really good and palatable for buns.

Hey hunni , I'm sorry to hear that Rhia is having problems .

She looks a little uncomfortable to me babe - have you got any metacam?

I would say also to keep an eye on her hocks as these can sometimes be affected if they change their stance.

Sending nose rubs to her and hubs to you xxxxx

She is beautiful Love

The first things I noticed were the head and ears, which you've accounted for. The only thing I can see is that she looks like she is sitting slightly "hunched" and a bit "leany" - she doesn't look all that comfortable, but it's hard to tell from just two pictures...

Sending lots of vibes for the lovely Rhia Hugs

She does seem to be a bit hunched over and when my buns have been unwell they've sat like this. Hoping you can make her comfortable Hugs Hugs

I have much more limited experience than many here, but the first thing I thought was that her abdomen hurt. More her intestinal area and not the tummy. Sending feel better vibes for precious Rhia! Love

She certainly looks like her top half is leaning to the right a little. Of course, you can't tell if it's the angle or just the way she is sitting.

Lots of vibes for Rhia and Hugs for you xx
