BLUEBELL IS HOME YAY
My bluebell is now home just got back,
they said when she was sedated they found the spurs were very minor but razor sharp hence the ulcer.
she seems a bit groggy but fine
Piccies:
this is what they put in the carrier for her the food not the rug
and my blue head straight for the dogs water

Re: BLUEBELL IS HOME YAY
I'm glad she is home - she looks quite bright
Is that a muesli mix they have given her? They shouldn't really be giving her any food she is not used to - did you not send her in with a packed lunch? We always do when our buns go in. And their own water bowls as they won't drink from bottles

I think maybe one of the nurses there gives it them not knowing I may ask them to only give her her packed lunch if she goes again

Re: BLUEBELL IS HOME YAY
I'd be really quite cross with them in that situation. I know they like to see them eat before they let them come home, but I wouldn't want them eating that junk.
And an apple core?!? Apple seeds are poisonous to bunnies! I'd have been furious!

If I forget a packed lunch my pair get readigrass. Needless to say they always hope that I forget to pack lunch.

So glad she is home and well
I agree though - that is not good stuff for anybun to be eating. I'd be angry...

Apple seeds contain cyanogenic acids I'm quite shocked that they didn't know that at the vets

Re: BLUEBELL IS HOME YAY
I'm so glad she is better!
Apple seeds contain CYANIDE! Even a few can kill a bunny. I'd of threatened to sue and settle or them not charging for the service since they could have killed Blue. You might save another buns life too!
