I bet it's worse in other areas but I can not get out my nephew came by and said it's impossible to go anywhere they havn't even bothered to salt the roads Rolling Eyes

I noticed on Jack's thread also how thick the snow was and you have it thick there as well, we are lucky as although we have had snow it's not thick at all. It's been trying to snow today but just a little bit. The last thick snow we had was in 2010 when it started to snow at the end of November and we had snow all through December to January. A lovely white Christmas!

This was 2010 Rob in North Yorkshire.

Mike had just fed the wild birds and given them some water.

We couldn't get the car out the driveway and Mike had to dash Cloud to the vet's and so we had to dig all the snow away so we could take her to the vet's.

It started snowing at tea time and it's still snowing and quite hard now, even though the gritters came down our lane today you can't see the road for snow, and we are getting cancellations for boarding as they can't get here due to the snow. It's quite bad I hear in Sunderland.

It has being snowing all night and it's still snowing and it's getting quite thick now , due to snow all today, tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday Hmmm

We have only just had a little snow overnight. It is really cold, but the snow isn't deep at all. Hope it stays down south!

burrrr It's cold down here Shocked .
Took the dog out earlier and she pulled me home half way through our walk.
Can't say I was bothered about it though Laughing i was frozen.

The gritters dont come into our streets they stop at the opening o the cluster of houses, that bad snow 2 years ago the plough left all the bleeding pushed snow right at the opening trapping everyone. We were waiting on a delivery but the driver refused to come up the street even after they cleared the blockage.
