Taking care of Bertie's teeth
Bertie has lovely healthy teeth, and we want them to stay that way. The other 2 cats have their teeth sorted - well, Hannah has none, and gizmo gets the plaque and stuff off his teeth by crunching mice as far as we know, Bertie doesn't hunt. Before anyone suggests toothbrush and paste, his time as a stray has him just a little too wild for that. We've also tried dental treats, but they don't agree with his tummy - whenever we give them to him he does the most toxic farts honestly, they are so ripe you can almost taste them!

Re: Taking care of Bertie's teeth
Often with cats a sign of bad breath/teeth can mean an underlying health problem. Smokey has bad breath and that is due ti his heart murmur.

He doesn't have bad breath, we just want to look after his teeth so they don't cause problems.
