A problem with Jenna update eating now!!.

Hi guys .

I think little Jenna has constipation .
She seems to be a quiet and she sleeps a bit more then she normaly does.
If also noticed that when she uses her litter tray sometimes she gets off and theres nothing there.
Just wondered if you guys know whats wrong with her or know the symptoms of constipation and a cure .
I think it's because lately my house hold has been a bit up and down so unfortunatly their routine has suffered .
And i know how much rabbits hate that!! .

I have not heard of buns being constipated Hun, how long as she not passed poo for?

Shes been like this for around two days now including today.
Yeah i know i've never heard of it in rabbits before eather but it looks a lot like it.

If her toilets are not normal after that long Hun, she needs to see a vet. It may be that she has a blockage or some other problem. How is her eating?

i'm thinking a bit of g.i. maybe I would take Katie's advice and see the vet

Rabbit's can't get constipation Mike had a chat to our vet about it once .

Is Jenna moulting Izzy and have you noticed her grooming a lot, I certainly would see the vet as it could be ileus
or even a blockage both will need vet treatment.

Yes she is moulting now and I have seen her grooming but not more then normal .
She seems better today though .
She's running around eating some hay and yes she has been to the toilet.
I'll keep a careful eye on her just in case she does it again.
And yes if she's like that again i'll take her down to the vets but at the moment she's seems better .
Oh and thanks for telling me Maysie I thought that it's a bit odd that rabbits can get constipation.

I have good news she's eaten half a cup full of veg and a hole hand full of hay!!!!,I've also given her a good brush
It's very odd it's like she's back to normal again .
I'll still keep my eye on her though just in case .

She might have just had a bit of hair blocking her up from grooming herself if she's moulting.

So glad she is doing better now though. Keep it up Jenna!

I was looking at the other problems rabbits have had and Dotdots rabbit Tigger has had the same thing .
Maybe it was because it was cold last night.

It could be. It might be a mixture of the two.

Rabbits are tricky things to understand

Yeah and Jenna can be a grumpy little one sometimes
But I love her to pieces and I wouldn't change a thing
